Use the form on this page for help with Best Ringtone Maker on iPhone or Android, or for a privacy request. Delete your Community account

In the app, on iPhone or Android, open Settings, choose Delete community account and confirm. This is the quickest route, and it works for the community profile on the phone you are using.

If you no longer have the app or the phone that created your community profile, use the form on this page. Write "Delete my Community account" as the subject and include:

your Community display name;
the exact titles of the ringtones you shared;
roughly when you shared them.

Never send passwords, payment details or any other secret. A moderator checks that these details match a community profile, then deletes it in the same way as the in-app action. We aim to complete a request within 30 days and reply to the e-mail you enter in the form.

What is deleted from our server at once: your community identity and display name, every upload with its audio files, titles, tags and moderator notes, blocks you set and blocks others set on you, your preview counts, your added-ringtone records and other people's records of adding your ringtones, and the record linking your Premium purchase to that identity.

What we keep:

a record that the identity existed (a fingerprint of its public key and the deletion time), so it cannot be

used again;

purchase check results (the transaction or order number, product and status), no longer linked to you;
reports you filed about others and reports others filed about your ringtones, with the reason, details and

ringtone title but no link to you or the ringtone, until two years after they close;

no link to it;

moderation records for two years, which can include your profile and ringtone IDs, display name, ringtone

titles and moderator notes, and a record of the deletion;

rate-limit counters tied to your install ID, until they expire within two days;
a request sent through this form, as a support message.

Copies that other people already added to their own phones are not removed.

Deleting your community account does not delete your local library and does not cancel a subscription.

Import and recording

On iPhone, choose Create a ringtone, then Files, Video or Microphone. On Android, open Create and choose From files (audio or video you already have), From a video (the system photo picker) or Record your own. Cloud files may need to download before they can be imported. Protected music, including streaming-service downloads, cannot be edited; use an original recording or an unprotected file you have permission to use.

If microphone access was denied, enable it in iPhone Settings for the app, or on Android tap Open settings on the recording screen and allow the microphone. Other sources remain available.

Saving and setting a ringtone

Save keeps your original and edit settings in My Ringtones. Ringtones can be up to 30 seconds.

On iPhone, Export prepares the selected audio. In the share menu, choose Use as Ringtone if iPhone offers it, then check your ringtone in Settings. If that option is absent, use the guide's Share audio (.m4a) button and follow its GarageBand steps. A shared file is not itself proof that your default tone changed.

On Android, tap Set as ringtone in the editor, or choose it from a sound's menu in My Ringtones, then pick Ringtone, Notification or Alarm and confirm. The first time, Android asks you to allow Modify system settings for Best Ringtone Maker: turn it on and return to the app. If you choose Not now, the sound is still saved on your phone; open Settings > Sound, choose your ringtone, notification or alarm sound and pick it from the list (some phones name this menu differently). To give one contact their own ringtone, set the sound once, then choose it for that contact in the Contacts app. Settings → How ringtones work on Android shows these steps in the app.

Community: sharing, reporting and blocking

Share a ringtone from My Ringtones or after saving in the editor. Choose a title and category, confirm that you own the audio or have the rights to share it, then tap Share to Community. A person reviews every upload before it appears to others, usually within 24 hours; you can follow its status in Settings → My uploads, and edit, unpublish or delete it there. Browsing, previewing and sharing are free; adding someone else's ringtone to your library needs Premium.

To report a shared ringtone, open its menu in Community and choose Report; reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Choose Block (followed by the creator's name) to hide all of that creator's uploads; unblock in Settings → Blocked creators. Copyright owners and anyone reporting abuse without the app can use the takedown form at https://getbest.website/api/v1/takedown.

If a ringtone is not approved or is removed, the reviewer's note appears in Settings → My uploads. To dispute a removal, use this form and include the ringtone title and your display name.

Existing purchases

Purchases do not move between platforms: Premium bought from Apple works in the iPhone app, and Premium bought on Google Play works in the Android app. You can keep using the basic tools while resolving access.

On iPhone, open Settings in the app and choose Restore purchases using the Apple account that made the purchase. If Apple is unavailable, try again when connected. Manage or cancel subscription opens Apple's subscription settings; deleting the app does not cancel renewal.

On Android, open Settings in the app and choose Restore purchases while Google Play is signed in to the Google account that made the purchase. If the purchase is awaiting Google Play approval, finish it in Google Play; access starts once Google Play confirms it. Manage subscription opens your Google Play subscriptions, where you can cancel or change a subscription. Deleting the app does not cancel renewal. Google Play handles refunds under its refund policies.

Local files and privacy

The app stores your audio locally. Deleting a sound removes that project and its app-owned original; copies already exported elsewhere are separate. On Android, a sound you set as ringtone, notification or alarm is also saved in your phone's Ringtones, Notifications or Alarms folder and stays there until you delete it. We cannot recover a recording that was never sent to us. Use this form for questions about support messages or other information you provided to us.
